Over almost 4 decades, COINTEC expanded the business into branches to incorporate government and private clients such as the World Bank, IDB, Coca-Cola, Exon Mobile, Shell, Telefónica, Total, ABB, Pan American Energy, among many others.

COINTEC has also provided direct or indirect services to the National Energy Departments of almost every country in the Americas.

These services include the fields of generation, transformation, and transmission of medium and high voltage energy; infrastructure projects, including civil and industrial engineering in bridges, railways, highways, ports, hospitals, and the upstream and midstream segments of oil and gas. COINTEC was also a main player in the deployment of the cellular network of Argentina with the Motorola PCS technology, giving the country metropolitan, inter-city, and interstate cellular connectivity.

Since the year 1999, the family also diversified their interests in real estate through DAMFOUR S.A. and other vehicles in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in the Nordelta Area in Buenos Aires.

successful exits

In 2015, following the death of Mr. Jorge Cervigni, the family sold its 50% stake in COINTEC S.A.

In 2023, the family also sold its real estate business to M. Focinito Arquitectos in Buenos Aires.

After restructuring, the family decided to continue its business and investments through a family office.

In 2026, New Econonomies was sold to the VC of Mr. Ollie Forsyth.
